The stage was a jungle of cables. We tried out the recording mics in new positions, more central to the action and even placed a mic in the cube piano for Josie. At one point I wandered around the stage with my echo mic to see what I could pick up. Later Jean-Michel took a call and did a spot of remote assistance while we accompanied him over the pa. David wore cymbals on his feet and would dearly love to be an octopus, as the photos attest. No one knew when to finish a tune ...
