After the previous week's poor recording I felt it time to try different mic positions and used the X-Y technique, which I think has resulted in an improvement in sound quality. I also tweaked the levels to stop them from peaking and removed a buzz in one channel. Nothing was gonna get in the way of a clean recording. Marcus had been having his own sound problems with the films he was to project later and we started late and in the dark. He decided not to set up his keyboard and instead played on the grand piano all evening. David turned up with a bag of tricks, this time a collection of empty plastic bottles, which he strung up like a washing line, played, then left like so much litter on the stage. We tried to play a tune with one hand. Alberto cheated. If you're wondering about the track titles, I was looking for words that best describe how I was feeling while listening to the music and found all I needed here: https://thoughtcatalog.com/katie-mather/2015/07/45-beautiful-untranslatable-words-that-describe-exactly-how-youre-feeling/ ...
